In SC2 I enjoyed the attack powers of the Damascus sword, but felt right at home with the Masamune sword. With soul charge, it excels in offense and defense. Plus, you're speed increases, like a weapons version of Kaoken, sort of speak. You power up and get the job done quick. One of my favorite advantages includes the foward B,B,B which inflicts formidable damages when soul charged and my other favorite, utilizing unblockable attacks inputing foward A+B button 3x in a row. Powerful stuff. 

Some people may feel that this weapon and the Damascus sword maybe overrated, but in my personal opinion as a Mitsurugi fan, it's been very sweet. Especially since that time when I played SC2, I was still a novice at fighting games. By SC3, I became a better Mitsu player.

The Masamune became my OC's initial weapon of choice in SC3.
